Aircraft​

Anchors instead of brakes for seaplanes​

In the past the brake commands could be used to slow down seaplanes. That is obviously not how it works in real life. Therefore we added an anchor, which can be deployed and retracted using the following commands:

We added support for dual docking jetways at the following airports:
  • London Heathrow (EGLL)
  • Frankfurt Main (EDDF)
  • Munich (EDDM)
  • Dubai Intl (OMDB)
  • New York City Kennedy Intl (KJFK)
  • Chicago O’hare Intl (KORD)
  • Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson (KATL)
  • Los Angeles Intl (KLAX)
  • San Francisco Intl (KSFO)
  • Honolulu Daniel K Inouye Intl (PHNL)
  • Tokyo Haneda Intl (RJTT)

Gustaf III Airport (TFFJ)​

We removed the windsock for the 10 approach and added two elevated windsocks in their correct locations to the north west and south west corners of the airports. As pointed out by Michael Minuck, pilots familiar with the approach into the airport, will use both of these windsocks. On approach they will aim between them when over SUGARLOAF, which puts them on the final approach path for runway 10. In addition we removed the trees before the runway, because the field is empty in reality.

Aircraft​

General​

  • Fixed various smaller bugs in the Airbus and Boeing FMC.
  • The current flap setting is now displayed correctly on the new HUD
  • The altitude will be displayed correctly on the new HUD now (XPD-15709).
  • Fixed elevator differential deflection, which was reversed in the sim (XPD-15884).

Cirrus Vision SF50​

We fixed the fuel tank positions.

Local Web API​

Setting a batch of datarefs via WebSockets is working correctly now.

General​

  • Updated translations and fixed some German spelling mistakes (XPD-14153)
  • Further improvements around the replay system to avoid crashes
  • Enhanced logging around the replay system and dual jetways, which will hopefully help to triage and fix issues

Scenery​

  • Adjusted wake parameters to make seaplanes flyable again, because those wakes had quite an impact on the planes
  • Added sailboat races and schools to the scenery

  • Améliorations supplémentaires autour du système de relecture pour éviter les crashs.
  • Amélioration de la journalisation autour du système de relecture et des doubles jetways, ce qui devrait aider à trier et à résoudre les problèmes.
Scènes
  • Ajustement des paramètres de sillage pour que les hydravions puissent à nouveau voler, car ces sillages avaient un impact important sur les avions.
  • Ajout de courses de voiliers et d'écoles dans le décor.

  • Water effects will been shown during replay (XPD-15952)
  • Fixed crash in replay after a long flight (XPD-15772)
  • The rotors of the Robinson R22 helicopter will turn now correctly during replay (XPD-15935)

Local Web API​

  • Sending invalid data will no longer crash X-Plane (XPD-15820)
 
Si vous avez des soucis avec XP12.2.rc1 , pas de panique !
Au courant du problème , Laminar devrait sortir une v.12.2.rc2 assez rapidement ...
 
Il est toujours possible de revenir à la dernière version stable en décochant l'option BETA dans l'installeur ...

Pour les plus courageux , il faut lancer l'installeur avec cette commande :
--install_name="X-Plane 12.1.2-b3"

Je vais essayer de retrouver la procédure exacte .

Si vous avez la curiosité de voir le film « TROUBLE « qui passe actuellement sur NETFLIX, vous verrez l’acteur principal, amateur de simulation, sortir un DVD d’XPLANE 12. On voit quelques passages du jeu et un beau crash.
Film assez drôle, j’ai bien rigolé.
 
X-Plane 12.1.2 est depuis quelques heures en version finale !

Prochainement , il y aura un update consacré à l'ATC ...
Après , ça sera des améliorations pour la météo temps réel ...
